In Verb Measure VIII, the  ت  can undergo changes if the first radical is one of these dental consonants or vowels:

ت  ث  د  ذ  ز  ص  ض  ط  ظ  و  ي

تت ← تّ
دت ← دّ
ثت ← ثّ
يت ← تّ
وت ← تّ
زت ← زد
ذت ← دّ
صت ← صط
ضت ← ضط
طت ← طّ
ظت ← ظّ

إزدحام    overcrowding ( ز ح م ) 
تصطدم   collide ( ص د م )
إضطرّ    forced ( ض ر ر )
إزداد         increased  ( ز ي د )
مزدوجة    dual / double ( ز و ج )
إتّصال      contact / connection ( و ص ل )
إتّفاق       deal / agreement ( و ف ق )
